What does a marvelous mom do when her son/daughter who has a disability becomes aggressive or even violent at times? When I worked for NAMI Southwestern Pa (National Alliance for Mental Illness) I heard so many stories about parents who were frustrated because their loved one refused to take meds or get needed treatment. I approach this subject on my next podcast with knowledge of what this is like because my son, who has autism, became violent at age 12.
